Installation & Download

Before you download and install MLCad you have to install the LDraw/LEdit package and the part definitions. Your can download the LDraw/LEdit package and the actual library file from http://www.ldraw.org/.... Install these packages and follow the instructions to create a PARTS.LST file.

Download the latest version V3.40 now (1,1MB).

The previous version (V3.30) can be downloaded here.

Extract the WinZip archive to a directory (best choice is the LDRAW root directory). Make sure this directory contains the PARTS.LST file!

Read the file ReleaseNotes.txt and Readme.txt before doing anything else!

Start the program. A dialog may be displayed, telling you the path is invalid, and then the Settings Dialog of MLCad pops up where you have to enter the LDRAW root directory. Specifying the right directory is important for a correct operation of the program!
